The first time I listened to this record my mind blowned up not just for the extreme music but the amazing attitude of both bands.UG wrote typical but sincere lyrics about war, starvation, control state, peace. But RDR moved a step forward, nobody in Spanish State had written such deep lyrics about sexual liberation, queer, militarism, education or religion (ok, maybe Tortura Sistematika, the singer and guitarist joined that band before RDR). For young punks then reading the RDR lyrics was learning a new way to face our reality .The UG noise was pure attack of repetition, dirty and ugly riffs, powerful drums and a singer shouting monotonous disconformity.RDR played rad crazy noisy hardcore, pure anger, believe me these punks were not happy at all living in this world. Rumors say the RDR riffs were written with phone numbers, I mean puting the fingers in the guitar fret according to a phone number.The artwork of the record is awesome mainly the UG cover made by the guitar player, this cartoon is an Icon in the Iberic punk imagery.Anyway the bands never were happy enough with the record sound they think the original masters were stronger and harder, but the record plant did not a good work pressing the records.These days the UG singer keeps into HC and the drummer keeps into anti authoritarian ideas taking part in demos.RDR members keep being cool people playing punk in other bands like Lobo Eléctrico.
