This is a promotional Limited Edition release. It is a standard CD jewel case inside a black outer slipcase box with 'Rain Tree Crow' stencilled on it (same font/ format as actual CD cover lettering). The barcode is obscured by a red promotional sticker and the CD has 'Sample' printed on the inside-centre of the CD. An Obi is wrapped around the slipcase priced at ¥3,000. The CD contains 12-page booklet, listing credits & slightly larger 28 page, a full-colour booklet containing song lyrics (in both Japanese and English), photos, drawings, and liner notes (also in Japanese).

Two other CDs both using the same catalogue # VJCP-30087, also exist:

Recorded between September 1989 and April 1990 at Miraval Studios, Le Val, France; Condulmer Studio, Zerman di Mogliano, Italy; Marcus Studios, London; Air Studios, London; The Wood Hall, Bath; Ropewalk Studio, Dublin; Mega Studios, Paris, France and Eel Studios, London.
